I've been meaning to write this entry for awhile- a lot has changed since my last entry. But, as always, and even now as I count down the days to when I can call myself a frosh at MIT, I have been hosed. The important thing is that I'm writing now, right?
Well, first things first. The one huge thing that has been keeping me away from blogging is finishing my senior project, a field phenology study of the Ilex cassine. Translation: I watch trees grow. It may not seem like the most enjoyable thing, but for myself, the consummate biology nerd, it is bliss.
Also, as of Thursday, my high school lacrosse career has officially ended. The team decided to forgo the last two games and pull out of districts since so many of them were injured. I am extremely happy that there is finally less stress in my life now I can finally go home before 5PM. I'll still be playing in Weston for a tournament team on Saturdays and I am even considering switching back to midfield (goalie can get pretty irksome). Moving on.
*Edit: This was originally written some time in early April. I just never got around to finishing it. Ah well, as it says, moving on.*
